This (Harvard University) is one of the earliest institutions of United States established in 1636. It is a private research University. Located in the Cambridge, Massachusetts. It is named after John Harvard its first benefactor. University has eleven separate academic units, ten faculties and also a Radcliffe institute for advanced study. Its campuses are located in Boston Metropolitan area.

It is a Private Research University. Located in the Stanford, California. Officially its name is Leland Stanford Junior University. It was founded by Leland Stanford (US Senator from California) in 1885 in memory of his only child. His child died of Typhoid fever when he was 15 years old.
