This University is located in Houston, Texas, United States. It is situated very near to the Houston Museum District. Its former name is Institute for the Advancement of Literature, Science and Arts. It is considered as top University for higher education in Texas State. It was established in 1912. Its name is after the name of William Marsh Rice who was murdered.
